Family is first in Sheila’s and my hearts. Sheila’s lifelong love and desire for continuing education is respected by us all and helped motivate our move from the Jackson, MS area to Peachtree City, GA in 1997. Sheila went to work for a large Atlanta law firm, and I transferred with the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier for the Peachtree City Post Office. We have four children who all graduated from Starr’s Mill High School.

 

The family entertainment industry, educational and career opportunities here have been beneficial for our family and have enriched our lives. In 2019, I retired from the U.S.P.S. after 33 years of service.

 

Sheila and our daughter Jennifer are career employees with the Fayette County Board of Education. Jennifer is a middle school science teacher, and her husband Bryan is an executive in the medical equipment industry. Our son Jeremy is a neuroscientist working across the country with the pharmaceutical industry, managing clinical trials for potential prescription medications. Our daughter Lauren continues as a successful entrepreneur and a rising star in the live entertainment and hospitality industry. Her husband Ross is a Safety Director of a large construction entity.

 

Our family’s commitment to our country’s military defense and our continued sovereignty is deeply embedded and remains at the front lines in the Western Pacific. Our youngest daughter Amanda is married to Wyatt, currently serving as an NCO at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, while raising 3 wonderful, sweet children. Our son Jeremy served and fought with the Army in Iraq, and our son-in-law Ross served as a first responder in Iraq and Afghanistan earning a combat action badge. We fully support our military and our veterans.

 

We are so proud and love all of our children and grandchildren. Our deceased son Josh will forever be in our thoughts and hearts. They are all God’s greatest gifts to us. We are proud to live in the home of the Free because of the Brave!
